Apr 1-6 Economy Double Room. Hotel is about 5-8 mins walk from train station. Room was clean and comfortable. Coin laundry is on ground floor. However only 2 laundry machines and the hotel was very packed with locals (think mainly office workers and some local tourists) during our stay. So we ended up doing our laundry in the morning. Hotel served free breakfast. Rice, miso, some japanese dishes and bread but no fruits. The dining area cum common area on ground floor is spacious. U can buy food from the station and dine here. Lots of eateries at train station. Tram and buses to attractions are on other side of station but the bus station to Okayama airport and other parts of Japan is on the same side.

In terms of a base to visit Himeji, Okayama, Kurashiki and the local area, it is fantastic. A short 5 mins walk from Okayama station, this was a clean, practical place and cost effective place to stay. No it's not fancy, but they didn't advertise that. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were lovely.

Close to the railway station. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast was decent. Have luggage storage.

The stay is about a 6 minute drive all from the station with a Lawson convenience store 2 minutes away. The buffet breakfast every morning was tasty and the reception staff were happy to answer any questions I had.

Very well organized room, tiny but comfy with everything you need for a short stay, including a little fridge and kettle. Comfy bed, super clean facilities, hard working staff and fabulous breakfast buffet.

We like the room which is big and quiet. The hotel is near shopping street and there’s a lot of restaurants nearby.
